Job Description

Distribution Manager – Watsonville, California

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Eden Infusion is a compliant, state and local-licensed cannabis distributor looking for a hands-on Distribution Manager to run the heartbeat of our facility. If you like owning a process end to end - watching product come in the door, move through production and quality checks, and go back out as a fulfilled order - this is your kind of role. You’ll lead a small hourly team, keep our inventory and compliance airtight, and have real room to grow as our operations grow.

In a typical week you’ll spend three days driving operations and a fourth day flexing between operations and keeping the facility running smoothly.

Pay Range $27-$32/hour, depending on experience - with room for growth in operations
Hours ~32 hours/week
Work Location On-site - Watsonville, CA
Schedule 4 days on-site: 3 days focused on operations, plus a 4th day split between operations and facility management as needs dictate
Reports To Director of Operations
Status Non-Exempt, hourly

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The role breaks down into four areas that together cover the full journey of our product - from intake to delivery. Additional duties may be assigned as needed

[Inventory & Compliance]

What you’ll own: Every unit accounted for, every system in sync.

  • Receive and verify incoming product, then log it compliantly into our systems at intake.
  • Own inventory across Google Sheets, Metrc, Backbone, and Confident Cannabis, keeping records accurate and report ready.
  • Run end-of-month valuations and physical counts, reconciling any discrepancies quickly.

[Production & Quality]

What you’ll own: The line runs on time, on spec, and safely.

  • Plan and coordinate daily production flow with the Operations, optimizing throughput and ergonomics through preparation.
  • Keep equipment running and train the team on safe, correct use; jump onto the line yourself when deadlines call for it.
  • Ensure every product meets Quality Control parameters, with complete batch records and compliance testing.

[Vendors & Sales Orders]

What you’ll own: Product gets in the door and out to customers without a hitch.

  • Manage vendor relationships and align deliveries with production needs to avoid downtime or stockouts.
  • Handle scheduling and compliant label/sticker printing ahead of each run.
  • Create sales orders, perform final quality checks, support invoicing, and coordinate accurate, on-time distribution.

[Team & Facility]

What you’ll own: A capable team and a facility that’s always ready.

  • Supervise, train, and coach the hourly team - and own hiring and firing decisions for your area.
  • Communicate across all levels of management to resolve issues before they slow things down.
  • Dedicate part of each week to facility upkeep, maintenance, and keeping the site compliant and safe.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • At least 21 years of age, and willing to take and pass a background check.
  • 3–5 years in a consumer packaging environment; cannabis-industry knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Supply chain / distribution experience in pharmaceutical or another relevant industry; new-product-launch experience is a strong plus.
  • 2–3 years supervising or leading non-exempt operations teams.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google apps (Docs, Calendar, and similar).
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication - at ease with both individuals and small groups.
  • Some college coursework in Business Administration is highly preferred.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Apply NOW If You're…:

  • Adaptable - happy to jump in wherever you’re needed.
  • Energetic, reliable, punctual, and proactive under tight deadlines.
  • Equally effective working solo or shoulder-to-shoulder with the team.
  • Have an understanding of business needs in a growing space.
