The Financial Planner Associate job is a full-time position. As a Financial Planner Associate you will be trained to become a full financial planner who can deliver our proprietary financial planning system to our clients. If selected, we will provide you with the education and tools your need to understand and use our planning system. Your training will be done on a gradient and will include learning how to manage clients and their accounts, how to write and deliver plans and how to coach a client to keep them moving on their plan. You will also learn about the products and services we offer clients and we will help you secure the licenses you need to offer them to clients. If you do well with your training and you demonstrate the skills needed to go to the next level, you will begin taking on clients and building your base of business.

So let’s go over the job. What follows is a summary of the basic elements of the Financial Planner Associate.


Key points of what you will be doing:

Phase 1: Learn how to manage clients, their data and their accounts. Learn how our financial planning system works and how we deliver our plans and keep our clients moving on their plan. Interact with clients to orient them to our process, help them with some of our planning tools, gather data from them and schedule them for appointments. Learn the basics of the products and services we recommend to clients.


Phase 2: Learn how to do basic interviews with clients and write plans. Begin studying about the products and services we offer in more depth and also work to get licensed (Series 65 and insurance).


Phase 3: Learn how to deliver plans and start taking on clients. Learn how to do annual investment reviews and recovery cycles with clients.


Required Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of insurance and/or investments sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent typing skills and proficient with Word and Excel
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills
  • Can work independently as well as with a team
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented with the ability to reach and exceed quotas


Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with operating Infusionsoft
  • College Degree


What We Provide:

Econologics Financial Advisors will provide you with training and support you need to become a financial planner who can deliver our financial planning system. We have a lead generation system that brings in clients for you to work with and a support staff to assist you with servicing clients. This allows you to focus on your job – helping clients improve their financial condition!


Compensation:

We start you off at a $40,000 salary while you are training. When you begin taking on clients you will receive an increase in your salary plus a bonus program that can easily put you at a six-figure income if you meet your quotas!
