Represent the BID in the city’s development of Cap Park, a major new amenity over Connecticut Avenue NW; and plan strategically to assume maintenance and programming of the space in 2020.
  • Establish systems, technology and operating procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, effective risk management, and transparent performance measures. Develop and manage consulting, vendor and service contracts; select, manage and motivate staff.
  • Develop budgets for the long and short-term; manage revenue collection, expenses, and all financial functions to ensure the fiscal integrity of the organization. Seek new revenue sources and apply entrepreneurial principles to support BID programs.
  • Manage activities of the Board of Directors, providing strategic direction and effective lines of communication to keep Board officers and members fully informed and involved. The Executive Director will report to the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

  • Excellent budgeting and organizational skills, financial and business acumen, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
