Job Description

Dog Tag Bakery is looking to expand our pastry team! Join the organization that’s “Baking a Difference” and empowering veterans and military families. Dog Tag Bakery Holiday Baker position is a temporary role lasting approximately 4 weeks. Team member reports directly to the Holiday Basket Project Manager for the length of the project. S/he ensures the production of goods for the holiday baskets are packaged according to DTB standards. Team member must be available for the full length of the project (approx. 4 weeks)

  • Licensure: ServSafe Food Handler Certificate
  • Experience: 2+ years of industry baking experience or culinary school equivalent


  • Maintain a positive and respectful work environment
  • Follow direction and recipes correctly
  • Abide by all Health and Safety standards
  • Ensure all product is kept to Dog Tag Bakery standards
  • Help with the training of new employees
  • Attend and contribute to back of house meetings
  • Communicate staffing, equipment and ingredient needs to Head Chef
  • Research and test recipes for new menu and seasonal items


  • In order to keep our team safe, all team members must be willing to show proof of vaccination or agree to submitting PCR test results every other week.

  • Quickly recognize and resolve problems
  • Must operate machinery in a safe manner and report unsafe conditions
  • Must be able to multi-task effectively
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
