Doctor On Demand is looking for a Revenue Cycle Analyst to join its finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, collaborative team and have a direct impact on Doctor On Demand’s fast growing business.
Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle, the Revenue Cycle Analyst will be a key member of a team and responsible for ensuring the success and accuracy of our technology driven member’s claim volume workflow. This role is crucial to understand and resolve medical claim challenges, while guiding the company towards scalable solutions that delight our patients and enable the growth of our business.
Monitor the health of our claims pre and post adjudication, while driving resolution of issues with the Payers and/or vendors.
Be the go-to person for revenue cycle questions, including participating in cross-functional efforts to increase efficiency of systems and processes related to the entire revenue cycle operations.
Perform in depth research to look for trends in our invoice balances to propose reconciliation both internally and with external vendors.
Work with Product, Engineering, Finance, Provider Enrollment and Operations to close gaps within our claim volume workflow.
Represent Doctor On Demand during discussions with the payer’s EDI team for set up and maintenance.
Monitor and implement best practices necessary for a healthy revenue cycle.
Assist implementation in assessing and onboarding new customers’ claim billing requirements.
Work closely with external vendors and systems that influence the success of our payer integrations.
2+ years of relevant revenue cycle experience.
Ability to consistently comb through large amounts of data and draw insights from it.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and make decisions.
High standards of accuracy and precision.
Understanding of insurance plan benefit design, as well as ANSI 5010 837 and 835 files.
Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capable of presenting complex claims billing workflow information in an easy to understand format.
Can work with employees at all levels of the organization in a highly collaborative environment.
Preferred: Strong technical acumen (understanding of JSON, XML, X12/EDI, SQL, system configuration management, and database structures). Experience with business intelligence tools can be a substitute for this.
