About the Team

Doctor On Demand’s product team is growing, and we’re looking for a product manager with a passion for making a difference in people's lives. We’re solving big problems through the intersection of design and technology -- problems that give you autonomy to build meaningful solutions across the product. 


Job Summary:

Doctor On Demand is partnering with the largest employers, health plans and health systems to build an amazing healthcare ecosystem for our users. As a member of the Product team, you will interface closely with our engineering and design teams to create new experiences for our members, providers, and support team.  You’ll help manage a roadmap of features focused on behavioral health workflows, balancing a number of different perspectives.  You’ll work to iterate on the product and learn from our customers on what can be improved.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, clinical/business operations, and analytics to lead the end-to-end success of projects from discovery to launch. 

  • Translate business problems into functional requirements and write clear and concise requirements for engineering. 

  • Gain alignment from multiple stakeholders to create a comprehensive and achievable strategy to tackle a given problem.

  • Help define hypotheses for product enhancements, deliver data-driven recommendations, and run experiments to track towards business outcomes.

  • Synthesize usability studies, market research, and competitive benchmarking to evaluate trends and best practices in healthcare solutions.

  • Participate in a team that focuses on our behavioral health workflows, both from the patient’s perspective, as well as the clinicians. 

  • Other duties and projects as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to achieve strategic business goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends in an innovative and fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical, prioritization and problem solving skills

  • Authorized to work in the United States, no VISA sponsorship allowed. 

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. 

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a product manager who led a scrum team of both backend and frontend engineers  

  • 5+ years of experience working on B2C or B2B products

  • Experience delivering products and showing the impact of the work you have done

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Public Health, or related field

  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or healthtech, preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seating in a stationary position roughly 50% of the time, as well as the ability to move about.

  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., picking up and computer / laptops) may be required.

  • Good manual dexterity required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, laptop, and mobile devices).

  • Some overnight business travel may be required.
