The Healthcare Operations Analyst will leverage Doctor on Demand’s unique data landscape to create insights into our business and product performance, as well as lead efforts to optimize efficiencies across teams.
This role will primarily support Clinical Operations, Finance and Product teams, and will collaborate with other departments to ensure the success of operational initiatives.
Responsible for producing and maintaining operational forecasts in support of staffing decisions
Collaborate with FP&A to develop and maintain tools for estimating revenue and margin
Directs the integration of ERP and practice management systems into BI landscape
Monitor trends and identify causation where volumes diverge from forecasts
Collaborates with Product team to model and measure the impact of product changes and new feature additions and incorporate changes into BI systems
Analyze claims, billings and eligibility determinations to optimize operational efficiency
Assist in responding to system outages and measuring impact to clients and patients
Other duties as assigned.
Advanced skills using Business Intelligence tools like Looker or Tableau to publish enterprise dashboards and reports
Experience with forecasting
Experience working with healthcare financial data
Strong SQL skills
Data modeling skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment often involving competing priorities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline
At least 5 years of experience performing analytics, preferably in a health insurer or healthcare analytics setting
