Credentialing Coordinator

Job Description

The Credentialing Coordinator will administer the medical staff credentialing and reappointment process, along with third party payer enrollment and other duties as assigned.



  • Administer the Doctor On Demand credentialing, reappointment, and privileging processes

  • Work with medical staff leadership and clinical staff for the approval and ongoing review of providers

  • Coordinate procurement of licensure, malpractice insurance information, etc.

  • Completion of various applications and documents for provider enrollment, credentialing and medical licensure

  • Track the enrollment status, approval and reappointment of providers with various payers

  • Originate or collect and maintain appropriate records

  • Complete and distribute employment verifications

  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • Must be detail-oriented

  • Must have strong organizational skills

  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills

  • Previous healthcare or credentialing experience is a plus

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision for 40 hours a week
