Role

As an Enterprise Sales Development Rep, you’ll work with our sales leaders and account executives to research and build sales pipeline, engaging senior executives and creating enterprise opportunities to fuel Directly’s 2018 growth.  We’re looking for exceptionally talented and motivated individuals to help us build the world’s best sales force to evangelize a new model for customer service that is taking the industry by storm.

 

Responsibilities

  • Generate business opportunities for our Account Execs through targeted outreach activities

  • Effectively communicate Directly’s value proposition to both prospects and customers

  • Establish rapport and build strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders, including senior executives (VPs, SVPs, EVPs)

  • Help create and prioritize outbound target account lists within a given territory

  • Research new accounts within a territory and research new contacts in existing accounts

  • Efficiently create opportunities from inbound leads

  • Nurture prospects through email, direct mail, social media, and other channels

  • Partner with marketing on driving attendance to events, tradeshows, webinars, and conferences

  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified meetings

 

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree

  • 2+ years of sales experience in a technology company

  • Proven skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, and time and territory management

  • Personal drive and motivation to acquire new business

  • Exceptional and engaging communications skills - verbal and written

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Goal oriented and accountability towards targets

  • Passionate about sharing a disruptive business model

  • Experienced in prospecting and conducting discovery calls

  • Must be driven to provide an exceptional customer experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in prospecting into Fortune 500 companies

  • Previous experience with Salesforce
