Role

As Director of Product Marketing, you will collaborate with our marketing, sales, product, and support teams to deliver effective messaging, content, and tools to our key audiences, including prospects, customers, partners, and customer experts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategy: collaborate with marketing, sales, and other executive leaders on overall company and go-to-market strategy

  • Messaging: Develop positioning and messaging for different personas, market segments, and industries

  • Sales enablement: communicate key messages to the sales team and develop tools that support the selling process across the buyer’s journey

  • Marketing enablement: support content needs of demand generation and PR teams

  • Analyst Relations: drive engagement with key industry analysts and ensure our story is understood and represented in key reports

  • Competitive Intelligence: establish the competitive intel core competency and be the “go to” expert on our competitive differentiation

  • Pricing: collaborate with marketing, sales, and other exec leaders on pricing strategy

Requirements

  • Proven leader who can create a trusted relationship/partnership with sales, marketing, product, and support teams, as well as customers and partners

  • Proven capability to understand the value that technology creates for businesses—at both a strategic and tactical level—and deliver this message clearly and succinctly through sales tools and marketing content

  • Proven ability to deliver content – including presentations, datasheets, white papers, demos & demo scripts, product & case study videos, blog posts, web content, ROI calculators, etc.

  • Deep domain expertise in customer service, customer support, call center, community, or related software areas

  • Strong work ethic and bias for action

  • Experience with pricing and packaging models

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, high intellectual power

  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication/presentation skills

  • Strong teaming skills and experience to bring together diverse views

  • BA/BS degree and/or MBA from a top-tier institution preferred
