Commericial Account Executive - Central

Sales | Remote | Full Time | From $70,000 to $95,000 per year

As a member of the DirectDefense sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business revenue throughout North America. We need an experienced rockstar who is looking to take their sales career to the next level in information security. We’re looking for a driven Commercial Account Executive to join our growing sales team and help expand our Essentials offering for small and mid-sized businesses. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of high-volume, transactional full-cycle sales: from prospecting to close, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, demo, proposal, and close.
  • Drive outbound outreach via calls, emails, and event attendance to generate and convert new business opportunities.
  • Join industry events, webinars, and partner activities to build relationships and identify new leads.
  • Present and sell the Essentials package, aligning cybersecurity needs with DirectDefense’s offerings, including penetration testing and MSSP services, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to optimize pipeline generation and share platform feedback.
  • Leverage tools like Zoominfo, Outreach, Orum, and Salesforce to manage pipeline and activity metrics


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or IT services.
  • Proven success in high-volume, transactional outbound prospecting and closing new business.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Zoominfo, Outreach, Orum, and Salesforce preferred.

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 + commission

In accordance with applicable state laws, we are providing a good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
