About the Role:

Dialpad is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will help across all FP&A initiatives and play a critical role in building out the function. This role will report to the Finance Manager and will also act as a business partner to our sales organization, providing heavy analytical and financial support to our CRO. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, particularly bookings and ARR, and is able to work independently in a fast paced environment. This is a highly visible role in which you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that are viewed by the Executive staff, investors, and the board. Previous experience at an investment bank and/or high growth SaaS startup is a major bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Finance Manager and VP of Finance across all company-wide FP&A initiatives

  • Become trusted business partner to Sales leaders and act as main point of contact to CRO for financial initiatives

  • Own all top line reporting and analytics including bookings and ARR

  • Assist with annual planning process, ongoing forecasting and budget versus actual analysis

  • Build detailed financial models and dashboards that track and analyze key business drivers and trends

  • Perform various ad hoc financial analyses and produce clear and actionable reports

  • Build and report on short and long term revenue and gross margin analyses by product, segment, channel and other breakdowns as needed

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and key metrics reports in a manner that is easily digestible by investors, Executive staff, and managers

  • Ensure that all financial modeling is in accurate standing

  • Collaborate with various areas of the business to ensure that the Finance team is in sync with all company initiatives and metrics

  • Support Accounting team in monthly close process with budget versus actual analysis

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a related role

  • Experience supporting a scaling sales organization at a fast paced startup

  • Experience with P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow analysis and a strong understanding of GAAP accounting and finance concepts

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Apps, Excel, PowerPoint and modeling

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp and apply analytical concepts, particularly those commonly used in SaaS/Enterprise Software companies

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Experience with Salesforce, Intacct, Domo and financial budgeting tools

  • Ability to perform in a high demand, dynamic environment and manage to established deadlines

  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to consider consequences cross functionally

  • Effective communicator across all levels of the organization

  • BA in Finance or Accounting required

  • Nice to have - experience at an investment bank and/or high growth SaaS company
