Senior Commercial Business Development Representative

Sales | Austin, TX | Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Learning and maintaining in-depth knowledge of Dialpad products

  • Qualifying inbound commercial leads via phone and chat to create new business opportunities to fuel Dialpad’s Commercial Sales Pipeline and Growth Worldwide

  • Working to have a variety of touches (Call, Email, Social, etc.) on all inbound leads in your assigned territory

  • Uncovering unmet customer needs and incorporate customer feedback to drive better overall product experience

  • Collaborating with and leveraging teammates to develop follow-up lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities in regional areas

  • Conducting high-level discovery and conversations with Senior Executives

  • Managing, tracking, and reporting on all activities and results using Salesforce

  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings and calls as needed

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Direct prospecting experience and proven success building out new territories 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to hit goals and attain quota in previous sales or sales related role

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, possessing the ability to maintain control of communication length and direction and articulate under pressure

  • Strong work ethic; take initiative and think creatively to get the job done

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively and balance multiple, disparate work streams

  • 2+ years work experience in a  professional environment; experience in tech solutions sales highly preferred
