Sales Operations Analyst

Dialpad is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to support sales forecasting, analysis, reporting, operations, processes, and systems.  Our Sales Ops Analyst will reports to the VP, Revenue Operations and works with the Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.  Our Analyst will be responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly sales analyses and reporting, system, and tools supporting sales operations, operational reporting, sales process support, territory, and account management, and provide critical liaison to marketing and finance operations. 

The successful candidate will have strong operational and analytic experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage through influence, and proven success working in a dynamic growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage territory and account coverage models & assignments with sales teams

  • Track, analyze, and provide KPI reporting for key sales metrics and performance trends over time (pipeline, forecast, bookings, deal statistics, etc)

  • Analyze and report on weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance and productivity metrics, including pipeline conversion rates, win rates, competitive win rates, average deal size, sales rep productivity

  • Own the technology stack driving the operational effectiveness of the business development and sales teams, provide training and evaluate adoption

  • Provide recommendations on changes or additions to our technology based on existing gaps, industry best practices and business strategy

  • Develop process and technology solutions to business challenges which drive operational excellence and scale into the sales organization

  • Perform complex ad-hoc analysis as required in support of Sales organization

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in Sales Operations or Business Analysis supporting Sales

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Marketing or related degree

  • Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, Salesforce, sales performance tools

  • Strong written and oral communication

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic capabilities

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and presentation

  • Possess excellent business judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Committed to collaboration and a “team” philosophy

  • Ability to stay organized and focused in an ever-changing environment
