As the Head of Content Marketing for Dialpad, you are a seasoned creative leader with a background in writing, editing, and content creation that has the ability to ideate and generate creative work in a variety of forms. You will lead the team responsible for delivering message consistency and compelling content for our brand and customers and will leverage your marketing experience, project management skills and business savvy to deliver on campaigns, projects, deadlines and goals for the Dialpad’s marketing team. You will collaborate across marketing, sales and other internal functions, partnering closely within the product marketing and communications teams to track categories like sales productivity, pipeline conversion, effectiveness of assets and message consistency. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional portfolio; experience managing a diverse team of writers and content creators; and the ability to work successfully in a quickly-changing environment.
As the Head of Content, you will:
Convert key business insights into well-designed content strategies that create a sustainable vision and contributes to revenue growth; accurately aligning content strategy with business goals to ensure marketing objectives are met or exceeded
Understand how to elevate a brand’s communications through content and tone of voice
Maximize awareness and engagement with our brand through the creation of all forms of high-quality content including video and editorial as well as the ongoing curation of relevant content
Think “outside the box” to create disruptive and innovative content which will set Dialpad apart in the market
Build and manage calendars, timelines, and scope to ensure that all content is delivered on-schedule to the client
Oversee our ability to measure and demonstrate the quality and efficacy of our content offering
Partner with members of Dialpad’s cross-functional teams to maximize the performance of content strategies and tactics
Showcase your excellent written and verbal communication skills
Develop, inspire and motivate your high performing team
You have 7+ years’ experience developing multi-channel content strategy (B2B Saas preferred)
Your have had extensive experience at a content or creative agency
You possess the comfort and enthusiasm to roll up your sleeves to get a job done, while also the maturity, confidence and ease to present to senior leadership and mentor/ direct your team
You have exceptional organizational skills and manage accountability well. You can oversee multiple work streams simultaneously and are equally comfortable delegating or owning tasks, no matter how big or small.
You have had success with both long-form content creation and in the moment, reactive content creation and distribution. You can easily move between editing and authoring content yourself
You have strong persuasive skills and ability to gain consensus through the influence. You are a great cross functional partner and collaborator
You are creative and excited about the opportunity to surface new and innovative ways to connect with consumers
You have proven expertise at planning, creation, refinement, and management of traditional and digital content that drives the brand story in a compelling way, builds trust in the brand, creates awareness, drives engagement, and increases market share
You have experience managing and inspiring a team, fostering collaboration and learning on the team
You have proven success in leading and managing people within a fast-paced environment
