A/R Accountant

We’re seeking a A/R Accountant who can leverage their accounting skills to further develop and expand our A/R, collections and general accounting processes. Our ideal candidate is looking to expand their career and grow in a collaborative and innovative startup environment.



  • Provision sales orders

  • Set up initial billing for new customers

  • Review system generated billing for accuracy

  • Collaborate with internal partners to manage customer billing process and generate customer and reseller invoices

  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities

  • Follow up on outstanding collections, flag delinquent accounts and escalate unresolved issues

  • Manage and review weekly aging reports

  • Research and resolve accounting inquiries from customers

  • Assist in monthly closes and annual audits

  • Prepare customer credits and post manual adjustments

  • Perform special projects and reporting as needed



  • 1-3 years accounts receivable experience in a fast-pace high-growth environment, preferably SaaS company

  • Fast learner & self starter with a problem solving mentality ready to roll up their sleeves and figure out new challenges

  • Accounting software experience including the accounts receivables and cash modules and general ledger accounting

  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to build rapport with all levels of an organization

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivots)

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects effectively

  • Brings a strong work ethic; takes the initiative and thinks creatively to get the job done

  • BA/BS degree (Finance, Accounting or Business focus)

  • Desired systems knowledge:  Intacct, SureTax, Salesforce, Zendesk, braintree
