Job Description

Traverse City public accounting firm seeking a qualified Administrative Support Specialist!



Our Administrative Support team has a high level of responsibility and impact on our business.   We appreciate their contribution and are looking for the right person to join our team.  Responsibilities involve supporting various departments with diverse tasks, such as client deliverables, client service expectations, and performing data entry for accounting related functions using a variety of software programs.

Minimum qualifications:

  • At least three years of recent professional office experience in accounting, finance or similar office setting. 
  • High level experience and functionality with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
  • Proficient at scanning as well as supporting paperless/electronic and non-electronic documentation utilizing various, complex firm systems, programs
  • Requires adaptability with various, accounting software programs or ability to quickly learn new software programs.
  • Extremely detailed oriented and thrives on accuracy and organization.
  • Able to consistently meet due dates and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to be responsible for major assignments in a team environment.

This is a full time position with overtime during busy seasons.  All candidates subject to a background check.
