Part-Time Seasonal Grounds/Maintenance Caretaker

Purpose:

Provides seasonal grounds maintenance and light facility repairs

Responsibilities:

• Collects and disposes of trash from all containers within facility
• Notifies manager of supplies and materials needed for maintenance
• Completes assigned tasks in a timely/safe manner with minimal supervision
• Operates company fleet vehicle to travel between store locations
• Performs minor repairs that may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures
• Inspects equipment/machines to ensure safe operation prior to use
• Operates mowing equipment in a safe and responsible fashion
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work autonomously
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Capable of frequent pulling, pushing, and bending
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces
• Valid insurable driver’s license
