Datalot is building some of the most innovative online advertising technology for the insurance industry. We are currently looking for a Media Buyer, Google Ads to join our Denver, CO team.

Given the current state of the COVID-19, this role will start off as a work-from-home position and then transition to work in-office.

You will play a key part in building, executing, and optimizing Google Ads, buying efforts. We’re looking for a media buyer with experience buying direct-response Google Ads campaigns in Search, Discovery, Display and Youtube channels. This is a hands-on role, and the ideal candidate is an analytical media buyer. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong background in large scale consumer acquisition and media buying analysis, ideally in the lead generation space. This role will be responsible for establishing and scaling an overall direct-response Google Ads  program; owning the media buys as well as the  innovation strategy. A critical eye for detail and a love for data analysis is a must.

What you will be working on

  • Strategize, execute and manage Search, Discovery, Display and YouTube campaigns all within Google Ads

  • Work closely with our creative team to produce scalable content that converts

  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests

  • A/B test copy, images/video, and funnels to meet performance goals

  • Provide daily reports on campaign effectiveness and next steps 


What we’re looking for

  • 2-3 years of experience in Google Ads

  • Experience with scaling a new Google Ads account from the ground up

  • Experience in Lead Generation advertising, preferably in the insurance vertical

  • Personal Attributes: strong analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.

  • A creative thinker that comes to the conversation with solutions, not just questions.
