VP/Director of Channel Sales

Cytracom, a rapidly growing "Channel Only" VoIP/SaaS venture, seeks a hands-on executive channel leader to drive sales through the company's existing channel, comprised of managed service providers. This individual will manage our growing channel team.

Ideal candidate has built a $30+MM channel from scratch for an emerging software, data center, hardware or services venture (i.e. disaster recovery, ISP, etc.)

Based in Allen, a northern suburb of Dallas, Cytracom is a dynamic, high-growth technology company that provides cloud-based voice services to thousands of businesses across North America. Our mission is to make business communications simple. The company leverages a nationwide partner network to sell and deliver our services.



  • Determine partner engagement strategy, engage with executive leadership on both sides, build and grow Cytracom presence across all key market segments to achieve business targets

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Product, Business Operations, Sales, Support, and Success to ensure internal messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelization of partner strategy

  • Define and work with Marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive channel leads, pipeline and deal progression

  • Work with Product Marketing to develop joint messaging and value propositions that highlight mutually beneficial relationship and value to end customer, along with repeatable sales enablement programs and toolkits

  • Ensure executive alignment and relationship building between Cytracom and partner executive teams

  • Assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

  • Track, measure and report-out on channel effectiveness against targets and adjust programs and strategies as necessary


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading channel sales or strategic alliances

  • Proven record of enabling a network of partners

  • Enterprise Sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals

  • Experience growing within a small start-up

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Strong ability to interact effectively with C-level executives and senior managers

  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences of varying technical expertise
