Title: Senior Corporate Accountant

Schedule: Full Time – Salaried – Exempt

Location: San Ramon, CA

Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to contribute to the organization's finance and business operations. This role reports to and works closely with the Corporate Controller. The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting. We are looking for a self-starter with incredible attention to detail, financial acumen, aptitude for technology, and a desire to work within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply a high volume of customer payments against auto generated invoice in QuickBooks.

  • Reconcile payment batches in QuickBooks to bank deposits.

  • Manage and administer the day-to-day operations of payroll activities, including processing of time and earnings records for employees.

  • Complete and maintain accurate filing of documents.

  • Process and verifying employee credit card expenses.

  • Responsible for preparation, timeliness and accuracy of monthly financial and supporting statements.

  • Manage accounts receivable / accounts payable.

  • Support Controller with State and Federal payroll tax filings.

  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.

  • Support leadership with special financial reports and projects.



Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.  CPA or EA preferred but not required.

Job Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.

  • Experience working with QuickBooks and other accounting software.

  • High degree of analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective written, oral and Interpersonal communication skills.

  • Be adaptable to various competing demands; ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload.

  • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.

  • Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality at all times.

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

  • As this role will have access to company assets, financials, credit cards and confidential information, a job offer will be contingent upon a positive credit report.
