Position Summary: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy services & care to patients, under the direction of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician’s plan of care. They provide exercise, instruction, therapeutic methods like electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, and ultrasound; massage; and gait and balance training. Physical Therapist Assistants record the patient's responses to treatment and report the outcome of treatment to the Physical Therapist.

Schedule: Part Time w/Benefits (32 hours p/week = 24 RVEs p/week)
* Non-traditional schedules are available, i.e., Thursday-Monday
AREA 9 - covers the following cities: San Francisco and South San Francisco
Area #10 - covers the following cities: San Mateo, Brisbane, Burlingame, Daly City, Redwood City, Hillsborough, Milbrae, Colma, South San Francisco, Pacifica, Palo Alto, Belmont, San Bruno, Half Moon Bay, San Carlos, Melo Park, El Granada
Area #11 - covering the following cities: Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Milpitas, Mt. View, Campbell, Los Altos, Morgan Hill, Mt. Hamilton, Saratoga, Los Gatos, San Martin
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- One year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant required
- Current CA Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
- Reliable Transportation and auto insurance
- Valid California Driver License
- CPR Certification
- Advanced computer system knowledge
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Tagalog, English/Armenian) a plus
