Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) 
Positions Available: 4
Schedule: Full Time positions and Per Diem positions available.
* Non-traditional schedules are available, i.e., Thursday-Monday
Locations: South Alameda covers the following cities: Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Union City.

Position Summary: A Physical Therapist (PT) will evaluate mobility, strength and current level of function, while setting goals to improve balance, walking, transfers, as well as patient education. Unlike a rehabilitation setting or even an outpatient clinic, unique emphasis is placed on safe mobility in and around the patient’s residence. Physical Therapists will also make recommendations on equipment and provide training on proper use of equipment.
* Please allot for one week of training prior to seeing patients in the field.

Valid California Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
