Curo Pet Care is seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to join our team. The role will be responsible for providing technical support to our group of 70+ veterinary hospitals ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, network systems, and specialized veterinary software. It serves as Curo’s field technology lead, working closely with Operations, Finance, and the De Novo build team to ensure consistent IT standards, data security, and reliable connectivity across the organization. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity and reliability of our IT infrastructure, enabling our medical team to focus on delivering top-notch veterinary care.

As IT Support Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to hospital staff for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot issues with veterinary-specific software, practice management systems, and medical devices.
- Resolve hardware issues on computers, printers, and peripherals to ensure operational continuity.
- Network Administration:
- Monitor and maintain local area network (LAN) performance, including internet connectivity, routers, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Manage network security, ensuring data protection and compliance with PCI Compliance (or other applicable standards).
- Software & System Management:
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, medical software applications, and other essential tools.
- Work with vendors to implement and troubleshoot updates to practice management software and other hospital systems.
- Provide basic training to staff on using hospital systems, software, and digital tools.
- Data Security & Compliance:
- Regularly perform data backups and ensure disaster recovery protocols are in place.
- Conduct system audits to maintain compliance with IT standards and data security protocols.
- Educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.
- Inventory & Vendor Management:
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage replacement cycles for aging equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, licensing, and maintenance of IT systems.
- De Novos:
- All IT ordering procurement for new sites
- Coordinate with local IT company to ensure successful installation of all IT infrastructure
- Travelling to new sites to perform install as needed
- Configuring all laptops and devices as needed for new locations
- Work with ISP provider to install new internet service, set up auto pay
- Train new PMs and DVM Partners on IT infrastructure
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain documentation of IT procedures, user guides, and troubleshooting steps.
- Generate reports on IT system performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

This is a Southern California hybrid position with travel requirements to a veterinary hospital setting, which may involve working in proximity to animals. Candidates should be comfortable working in an animal care environment and be prepared for occasional urgent after-hours support. Expectation to travel onsite up to twice a month for up to 3-4 days per visit.
