Front-End Web Developer (Entry Level)

Cureatr lets you know whenever any patient in your care has a clinical event in real time and allows you to communicate directly with the other clinicians on the care team across hospitals and providers, simplifying and standardizing the most critical clinical workflows at the point-of-care.


We aim to build modern and usable mobile and web applications that healthcare professionals love to use, while at the same time integrating deeply with the existing Health IT infrastructure and providing administrators and executives with the control and insights they need.


We have built the Cureatr solution with current technologies (ES6/Modern Javascript, JSON APIs, Python, MongoDB, AWS) and make sure to stay abreast new ones. We have a dynamic and very talented team working in a fast pace agile environment, based in the heart of Tribeca, NYC. We are growing and are looking for like-minded individuals to join the team.


As a front-end web developer we expect you to be an expert in front-end Javascript, HTML and CSS, but ideally you would have an interest in growing to contribute on the backend as well. You have to be comfortable teaching yourself what you need to get the job done, making and defending decisions, and being dedicated to teamwork, collaboration, rapid iteration, and automated testing.


We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • 1-2 years of professional front-end development experience OR a college / coding school graduate with a strong enough application portfolio to judge coding proficiency.

  • A solid code contributor and a strong team player, willing to learn from experienced developers accustomed to building things the right way.

You will get bonus points for any (or all) of the following:

  • Backend development experience, especially in Python

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS applications

  • Real time messaging / communication experience

  • Experience with HL7 and other Healthcare Information Technology standards

  • Familiarity with cryptography and web application security concepts 

  • Familiarity with Android or iOS development
