Estate Maintenance Technician
Executive Division | Largo, FL | Full Time | From $60,000 to $70,000 per year
Job Description
Estate Maintenance Technician — Private Estate Operations
Largo, Florida | Full-Time | On-Site
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Estate Maintenance Technician to take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of a private residence and ranch-style estate, with a strong hands-on approach to maintaining, fixing, and keeping everything in top condition.
This is a working, on-the-ground role for someone who prefers doing things themselves — fixing, adjusting, organizing, and keeping the property in excellent condition day to day.
Not a desk-based management position.
You won’t just oversee the work — you will be directly involved in it, ensuring everything is handled with care, attention, and ownership.
Your Mission
To keep the estate running smoothly by personally maintaining the property, addressing issues as they arise, and ensuring everything is consistently clean, functional, and well cared for.
What You’ll Do
Perform day-to-day upkeep of the property, including fixing, adjusting, and maintaining various areas as needed
Handle minor repairs and improvements to keep the estate in top condition
Regularly walk the property to identify anything that needs attention and take action
Keep outdoor and indoor areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Ensure everything on the property is working properly and safely
Coordinate vendors for specialized work when needed (but handle what you can independently)
Maintain tools, supplies, and materials required for ongoing upkeep
Support overall organization of the estate, bringing order and consistency to daily operations
Work closely with the Horse Trainer & Barn Manager to ensure alignment across the property
Who You Are
Naturally hands-on — you prefer fixing and improving things yourself rather than delegating
Take ownership and treat the property with care and attention to detail
Practical, resourceful, and able to figure things out independently
Reliable and consistent — you follow through and keep things in order
Comfortable working in a private, trust-based environment
Notice small details and take initiative without needing direction
Preferred Background
Experience in property care, maintenance, estate support, or similar hands-on roles
Basic repair and upkeep skills (general maintenance, light repairs, organization)
Experience with outdoor or ranch-style properties is a plus
What Makes This Role Unique
A truly hands-on role where your work has immediate, visible impact
High level of trust and autonomy in managing the property day to day
Opportunity to take real ownership of a private estate environment
