Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-driven Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our expanding Tax Department.
This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and client service. You will prepare and review tax filings for businesses, individuals, and trusts; represent clients before the IRS; and assist with strategic tax planning initiatives in collaboration with our senior leadership team.
The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of tax preparation and representation experience, demonstrates a deep understanding of federal tax law, and is ready to take ownership of client relationships while contributing to the long-term strength of the department.

Core Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and file accurate federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and trusts.
Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities when necessary.
Conduct tax research and apply current tax laws to optimize client outcomes.
Identify opportunities for deductions, credits, and compliance improvements.
Review and interpret financial statements to ensure accuracy and consistency in filings.
Core Competencies:
Tax Expertise & Compliance
Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required or in progress.
5–8 years of experience in tax preparation, compliance, and representation.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and trust taxation.
Experience preparing tax return amendments and handling audits.
Technical & Analytical Skills
Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
Skilled at reading financial statements and identifying key data points.
Capable of linking accounting data to tax outcomes and planning strategies.
Communication & Professionalism
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain complex tax matters in simple terms.
Professional, cheerful, and solutions-oriented demeanor.
