To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring a Marketing Manager reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer that will help the Marketing team in driving execution of successful marketing strategies.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning and executing a wide variety of core marketing programs, optimizing and reporting on marketing campaigns, collaborating internally to identify new programs that help meet our business goals, and will provide key implementation support for other key marketing team members.  The right person will be driven, experienced across a wide variety of marketing tactics, self-motivated, and excited about joining a dynamic organization that has experienced 2x annual revenue growth for the past 3 years.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop strategies and tactics to drive demand and qualified traffic to our front door
  • Manage and implement online and email marketing programs

  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution

  • Be the team lead to manage investor engagement and acquisition tactics

  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and behaviors

  • Experiment and optimize a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis and reporting, and more

  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups

  • Manage established partnership relationships and build strategic relationships with key industry players, agencies and vendors

  • Manage our social media program

  • Manage our affiliate program

  • Manage execution of key CrowdStreet events

  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals

  • Perform support duties including but not limited to: database management, reporting and analytics, sales communications, maintaining marketing materials, managing sales and marketing software tools

 

What We Must Have

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn

  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

  • Minimum 1 year experience managing paid advertising programs

  • Minimum 1 year experience managing and executing events

  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets

  • Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

 

Not Required, But Nice to Have

  • Domain expertise in Fintech and/or the commercial real estate industry

  • B2C & B2B marketing experience

*Must be willing to travel occasionally (expected: approximately once/quarter).
