The Challenge

Our product needs to let data science teams do several things easily and effectively, including:

  • Allowing them to upload and preview the data they’re working with

  • Letting them define a web interface and quality specifications through which contributors and machine intelligence will enhance their data via collecting, cleaning and labeling activities

  • Showing them the status and workflow of the data enrichment effort on its way to completion

The Position

Your role will be to focus on defining requirements and managing projects for enterprise implementations of our SaaS product, including a major v1 effort about to kick off. Your day-to-day will be focused on identifying customer needs and executing a product-implementation strategy that meets those needs, including:

  • Engaging with customers about what they want to do with their data and our product in their own environment

  • Creating Project Plans, User Stories, process flows and other artifacts collaboratively that reflect your requirements toward meeting goals

  • Working with Engineering, contract and business stakeholder teams to define and ship tests and features

What We’re Looking For

A talented, driven product manager who understands data and systems integration. For this particular role, some travel is expected.

You should have at least 3-7 years' experience working in a Product or Technical Project Management function, in-house or perhaps as an IT consultant. Coding or design/UX skills and graduate degrees are great but not required. As a rich environment for data manipulation, we work primarily in a full-screen keyboard-and-mouse paradigm (vs mobile).

If you’re experienced with any of the following from a product perspective, we want to talk to you:

  • Enterprise Software as a Service

  • Secure and/or government IT infrastructure solutions

  • Systems Integration and Project Management
  • ML and AI

  • GSD

  • Data science (Big Data, Rich Data, Small Data and plain old statistics / probability)

  • You should have experience doing customer interviews, investigating customer problems, and identifying customer needs.

  • You should also have experience taking complexity and making it simple -- and shipping it.

  • Ability and willingness to obtain security clearance is a plus.

How to Apply:

  • Click Apply Now -- your cover letter can be short: just tell us something about what excites you regarding this opportunity.

  • Competitive salary based on skills and experience

  • Medical, dental, vision, 401k

  • Flexible vacation

  • Full kitchen and catered lunches

  • Team events

  • Amazing office location in the heart of Mission!
