Machine Learning Internships
About the internships
CrowdFlower is looking for graduate and undergraduate students interested in Summer 2018 internships at our San Francisco office. The internships are open to students studying or interested in Machine Learning, in fields including Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, Human-Computer Interaction, Annotation, Active Learning, or Deep Learning.
As an intern, you will spend half your time working on CrowdFlower projects, and half your time working on a dedicated research project. For the CrowdFlower projects, this could include a wide range of applications that we work on: self-driving cars, intelligent personal assistants, medical image labeling, content categorization, customer support, social data insight, CRM data enrichment, product categorization, satellite image labeling, search relevance, and video tagging. For your own project, we will work with you to pick a research topic, with the goal of an academic or industry presentation or publication.
You will work with and receive mentorship from the Scientists in our Machine Learning team. Our Machine Learning Scientists are a deeply talented group of people, with an average of 10 years industry experience across the Machine Learning fields of NLP, Computer Vision, and Human-Computer Interaction. The team is highly collaborative and we love our diversity: we speak more languages than we have people!
This is a unique opportunity to experience working at a successful startup that is used by 100s of companies and research institutions world-wide, at the heart of the current explosion of AI technology in our everyday lives.
Please submit your application by February 15, 2018 for consideration.
