Summary
We are seeking a Technical Account Manager / Sales Support professional to help bridge the gap between sales, product, and customers for our commercial real estate technology platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, translating business goals into technical solutions, and supporting a fast-moving SaaS sales process.
You will partner closely with Account Executives and customers to demonstrate product capabilities, guide technical discovery, and ensure prospects and clients understand how our platform can solve their data and analytics challenges.
This role blends Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, and Solution Consulting, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and technical problem solving.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Support the sales cycle as the technical product expert: discovery, solution mapping, and demo support.
- Translate customer goals into use cases (dashboards, KPIs, data sources, system governance) and recommend BI oriented solutions.
- Partner with Account Execs to respond to technical questions, security/vendor forms, and RFP/RFI content.
- Lead or support proof-of-concepts guide setup, troubleshoot data connections, and manage in system deliverables for a prospect or existing client.
- Coordinate technical handoffs from sales to implementation/onboarding; ensure requirements are documented via SOW
- Help customers and prospective clients with basic integration practices (APIs, connectors, data refresh, permissions) and common troubleshooting.
- Capture product feedback from the field and recommend improvements based on the needs of the prospects/existing clients to additional stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (TAM, Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Implementation, and/or Support Engineering).
- Strong communication skills: able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and identify meeting takeaways.
- Comfortable working within a greater team and leading technology focused demonstrations to existing clients and prospective clients
- Working knowledge of BI concepts (metrics, dashboards, data-layering, data quality, role-based access).
- Experience with at least one of: cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, or structure of common BI platforms.
- Able to manage multiple opportunities/issues at once with organization and follow-through.
Nice To Have:
- Familiarity with common connectors.
- Presentation/storytelling skills for executive-ready BI outcomes.
- Previous experience in CRE related industries
- Comfortable with data: solid understanding of SQL fundamentals and ability to reason about joins, filters, and aggregations.
