Summary

The Senior Manager takes responsibility for overall management of a particular business segment and /or ongoing teams to coordinate the allocated resources, ensuring service delivery for a client or group of clients. They function as the key client-liaison for internal controls, client communications, ensure client satisfaction and may, fulfill the role of Account Manager for larger, strategic accounts and /or relationships. The Senior Manager facilitates the integration of new /companywide initiatives, assists with the sales process and onboarding management for new clients or services brought into the segment. This role also assists in the supervision of workflow and process management for a large group at a high level to help distribute the effort across the department, among other tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee training plan for new and/or advancing employees in the group. Participate as a subject matter expert in training plan for other groups.
  • Help gather specific metrics as requested for discussion in meetings with Senior Management Group:
    • Routine deliverable and company initiative completion status
    • Assigned project completion status
    • Lease quota and assignments to keep team aligned to measurement
    • Need for resources or resource shifts within the team
    • Workflow review and expense one-time tie-out confirmation with a focus on Processed By; Dates; Process Stage; Accuracy; Processing Notes
    • Oversite of key client deliverables – recapping yearly performance, compiling data and communicating effectively with clients on these deliverables.
  • Ensure Client deliverables are met including:
    • High data quality
    • Data is processed in a timely fashion
    • Doc log is current with no or minimal delinquent work
  • Perform monthly reporting control checklists for a designated group of accounts
  • Attend monthly client calls and ensure issues raised, solutions offered, and follow-ups communicated
  • Participate in quarterly company meetings by presenting topics /ideas as requested
  • Identify income-generating and savings opportunities or expense reductions
  • Identify and groom employees for supervision or account manager roles within the group or department
  • Use Lease Admin tools: Weekly plan, billing workbooks, onboarding book, procedures manuals, workflow system reports
  • Additional tasks or responsibilities as requested /required.
  • Assist with sales process
  • Assist with client contracts, renewals, amendments, work orders etc.
  • Assist with Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Perform or assist with monthly client billings and billing log

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills. Can discuss issues that are more strategic and defend a position both verbally and in writing and act as a resource in meetings
  • Intermediate math skills including calculating CPI increases, percentage change, etc. Some interpretive understanding
  • Database maintenance capabilities. Capability to create necessary spreadsheets and documents with analysis
  • Can arrange and participate in meetings as required. Proficiency with presentation software and business case preparation required. Complete resource to set the agenda, prepare the presentation, drive a consensus and assign follow up duties

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient with Windows software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Proficiency Measurements:

  • 0% over-SLA items; all performers > 3.0 average or better at annual evaluations
  • SLA’s and deliverables on-time /in quality range above 98%
  • Client satisfaction score of 90% or greater
  • Uses personnel resources efficiently
  • Leads a company project /quarter and /or two client onboardings /quarter (service or new)
