We are looking for a Web Analyst with strong Google Analytics experience to help us report and analyze web traffic, website behavior, and product performance for multiple clients. You will help to solve some of the most analytically complex questions growing companies face by leveraging data including web traffic, sales, and customer data, and turning it into actionable insights.

This position requires a combination of strong data analysis, business analytics, and communication skills. A good understanding of business strategy and experience in the e-commerce industry is helpful.

Essential Functions:

  • Report and analyze web traffic, website behavior, and product performance for multiple clients

  • Work collaboratively to identify KPIs, business needs and to provide data-driven insights that fuel business and marketing decisions

  • Generate custom analyses with the goal to tell stories and present results to key clients

  • Conduct analyses around business questions and goals

  • Proactively discover solutions and provide recommendations to improve our clients’ websites’ content creation and distribution processes. Recommendations will include design and content enhancements, CTA optimization, and marketplace opportunities

  • Evaluate traffic acquisition, user experience, and site conversions to provide strategic and tactical recommendations to improve a website’s performance

  • Assess emerging tools and industry trends to build a competitive tool-set with an early-adoption mindset

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in web analytics, content optimization and competitor analysis

  • Passion for driving results and a solid understanding of measurement, web analytics, and user testing strategies

  • Ready to collaborate with cross-functional teams from content and media to UX and web development

  • Excellent web analytics skills and the ability to analyze complex sets of data

  • Expertise in analytics tools like Microsoft Excel (including pivots, formulas, and macros), Power BI, R, Python, or SPSS efficiently to digest data and correlate multiple data sets

  • A solid understanding of keyword strategies, organic search, and other digital marketing channels

  • Experience with website management, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Content Management Systems

  • Understanding of tag management solutions (ex: GTM)

  • Ability to collect data from multiple sources including web, product, and customer databases to create combined views

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively summarize and present results

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in parallel and expectations for workload as well as managing workflow deliverables

  • Experience with content authoring/management, database management, JavaScript and basic HTML
