Responsibilities:

As a Night Auditor (3rd shift Front Desk), you will serve as the main point of contact overnight and be responsible for closing the financials for each business day. The ideal candidate will be responsible, trustworthy, and self-motivated for 3rd shift work. Must be willing to perform security walks and be comfortable diffusing guest situations. Assist with other needs from the bistro, public area cleanliness, laundry, and any other day-to-day requests to help set the hotel up for success the following day. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all aspects of hotel accounting for all areas of hotel operations are processed correctly and accurately recorded, protecting the brand and asset against liability and fraud.
  • Audit, balance, post, and report on the front desk, rooms, and all food and beverage outlets’ cash and credit operations and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely function and optimal operations management.
  • Provide rooms management with a clear picture of their performance using the data gathered.
  • Run the night audit final, after ensuring all revenue is in balance.
  • Attend to guest needs at the front desk.

Lobby Responsibilities:

  • Collect Trash and clean public areas throughout the hotel to be ready for the new day.
  • When needed fold laundry in downtime to help housekeeping get off to a great start in the morning.
  • The Front Desk Team assures the highest possible level of visitor and guest satisfaction by providing superior customer service. Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel as well as answering phone calls and customer inquiries. We need team members with an eye for cleanliness and attention to detail. Must be willing to help other departments as required. Must be friendly, outgoing, and have great customer service. Must have reliable transportation.

Requirements:

  • Must be dependable, honest, and respectful and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be 18 years or older

Bonus Points:

  • Previous hotel experience is nice, but we are willing to train anyone with a great personality and willingness to learn
