JOB DESCRIPTION
Convo is looking for an ambitious and sharp-minded Project Manager for its Agile PMO team. The PM is a seasoned and experienced resource who can manage complex software development projects from ideation to production deployment.
Location: Islamabad, PK | Hybrid role
Key Responsibilities:
  • PM is responsible for managing client projects and providing routine support and guidelines to the internal technical team in effectively managing and implement the ongoing projects.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with SDLC and STLC throughout the projects.
  • Have hands-on experience with widely used project management tools like Azure DevOps/Tasks Management (Azure Boards), JIRA, Clickup, Confluence
  • Have expertise in Project timelines and resource management and performance evaluation reporting tools to be able to present insights into overall project progress, milestones achieved, risks and failures to the internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop smart project implementation plans from requirements, resource availability, and timelines/delivery targets.
  • Crisp, accurate, and immaculate client communication on project progress/status reporting, milestone delivery, change management, etc.
  • Negotiate resource assignments within internal teams for client projects to optimize value and capacity utilization
  • Actively managing and monitoring scope, timelines, and quality to ensure superior product delivery to customers.
  • Implement Scrum and ensure compliance with all Scrum artifacts and ceremonies.
  • Handle project administrative tasks such as holding meetings, documenting meeting decisions, ensuring timely and smooth dissemination of actionable information
  • Management Reporting: Ensure that management and clients are always updated on the projects progress and key aspects related to project scope, timelines, budgets and associated risks, along with measures to address those risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 2- 5 years of overall experience of which 3 years of IT/Software project management experience. Startup experience is preferred.
  • Experience in leading multiple large-scale software projects from requirement gathering to client delivery/production release
  • Should have 2-3 years of Agile or Scrum practice
  • Should have Agile certifications such as PSM or CSM or ACP or PMP
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Be well versed in tools such as Azure Tasks Management Tool, JIRA, MS Office Tools, SmartSheets
