Jr. Product Manager

Location: Islamabad

CONVO is seeking a driven and curious Product Manager with 1–3 years of experience working on SaaS-based products or platforms (preferably in the B2B space). This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about product development and looking to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will work alongside a senior product manager, designers, and engineers to help shape features, understand user needs, and improve the product experience.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Discovery: Assist in user research, gathering insights, and helping define user personas.

  • Identify Product Gaps: Generate ideas to address gaps in the features and ideate with the team to improve overall product capabilities.

  • Data-Informed Decision Making: Use customer feedback and product analytics to identify areas for improvement or new feature opportunities.

  • Specification Support: Collaborate with senior product team members to document product features and translate them into clear user stories or specs for the development and QA teams.

  • Mockups and Wireframes: Contribute to UX wireframes and visual mockups using tools like Figma.

  • AI-First Execution: Leverage AI-based tools and platforms to streamline workflows, enhance product insights, and accelerate delivery of high-quality features.

  • Drive AI-Based Solutions: Translate pain points into AI-enabled solutions while ensuring usability and impact for end-users.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of features.

  • Effective Communication: Communicate ideas, gaps, and trade-offs clearly to designers, development teams, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.

  • Customer Understanding: Interact with end users and customer-facing teams to understand pain points and gather feedback.

  • Quality Thinking: Participate in product testing and help ensure that releases meet quality and functional expectations.

Requirements:

  • Education: BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in product management or closely related roles, ideally in a SaaS B2B environment.

  • Product Mindset: A passion for solving user problems and building great digital experiences.

  • Proactive & Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage workload independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Tools: Familiarity with product management, project management and design toolsLearning Orientation: Open to feedback, comfortable asking questions, and eager to grow.

  • Problem Solver: A high level of openness and adaptability, with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and translate them into practical solutions.

Skills:

  • Software Requirement Gathering and Elicitation

  • Design Tools Proficiency: Experience using software such as Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Balsamiq, and Sketch for creating low and high-fidelity mockups.

  • Enterprise Solution Knowledge: Understanding of Enterprise Products SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and SRLC (Software Release Life Cycle).

  • Customer-Facing Skills: Experience in presenting, conducting meetings, and negotiating with customers and stakeholders.
