Job Description: Accountant

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cash handling, payables, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, cash management, and receivable management. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a focus on maintaining accurate financial records.

• Location: Khoj Resorts Allana, Near Hub Chauki, Karachi
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Salary: 50,000 to 80,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Handling

• Manage daily cash transactions, including receipts and payments.
• Ensure proper documentation and secure handling of cash.

Payables Management

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable.

Book keeping

• Record financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Bank Reconciliation

• Reconcile bank statements with company records regularly.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Assist in forecasting cash requirements.

Receivable Management

• Oversee invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and aging reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 03-04 years of proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on the listed responsibilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
