Changing an industry is never a small task and requires a team of exceptional people. Our Santa Monica Headquarters is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the CEO.  It is an opportunity to be the right hand to a thought leader in the space, which at times (often times) will be very demanding and you will need to quickly learn, adapt and anticipate what’s needed to make the CEO’s life easier.  At times you will also be tasked with personal assistant type matters as well, and there will be a lot of opportunities for growth and learning.  Both personal and professional responsibilities will require a high amount of confidentiality and sense of judgment.  This is in fact considered a key role for those reasons.



  • Maintain calendars; including meetings, appointment scheduling and phone coverage for the CEO
  • Handle all logistics associated with internal and external meetings, appointments, and multi-location video conferences
  • Coordinate travel arrangements with consistent planning and execution
  • Create, format and edit correspondence with minimal direction
  • Follow-up on various activities and projects as directed to ensure deadlines are met
  • Help coordinate department or company events as needed
  • Handle any additional administrative projects and requests as needed by the CEO
  • Responsible for assisting with things like client presentations when running on a short deadline
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand CEO’s style and way of working, to anticipate needs and opportunities for impact
  • We are a start-up, every day might be different depending on the business needs and CEO’s schedule
  • Ability to be a tactful “gatekeeper” 



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years of administrative experience, with proven success supporting VP-level or above executives, preferably in entertainment/media/technology setting and start-up environment 
  • Pro-active orientation particularly in relation to anticipating executive requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task, balance priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable and a keen sense of understanding someone else’s style, voice, and needs
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
