Deputy Project Manager
Corporate | Remote in Miami, FL | Full Time | From $110,000 to $140,000 per year
Job Summary:
The Deputy Project Manager (PM) supports the effective execution, management, and administration of programs and services under this contract. This role ensures consistent performance and compliance with all operational requirements and acts as a key liaison with government stakeholders in the absence of the Project/Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) when the Project/Program Manager is unavailable.
Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations across assigned task orders.
Supervise personnel assigned under the contract, ensuring appropriate staffing, attendance, and performance at all designated posts and positions.
Ensure all staff comply with client-established policies, procedures, and safety/security protocols.
Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in service delivery and operational performance.
Participate in regular progress meetings with the CO and COR to report updates, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of overall program success.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in administrative healthcare management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Experience in detention health services or correctional healthcare is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Capable of reaching, lifting, and retrieving documents and materials.
Ability to carry file boxes or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
Must be willing and able to travel 30% to 40% as required.
