ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Comtech Xicom Technology is seeking a Project Manager professional to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible organization of engineering activities to support cost analysis and bid & proposal activities.  Manage schedules for R&D and Customer funded projects, and manage compliance testing schedules.  Also, responsible for acting as technical liaison between engineering and sales staff.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Coordinate and provide engineering support to sales for bids & proposals.

  • Coordinate and perform cost analysis for new product design.

  • Coordinate and perform risk analysis for development products and proposals.

  • Participate in the sales order review process on orders pertaining to new products.

  • Clarify and establish product definition for new orders.

  • Answer technical queries working with engineering and manufacturing to obtain answers.

  • Act as internal interface to follow-through on special quotations requiring engineering/management review.

  • Organize and facilitate engineering bid meetings.

  • Participate in management bid/no-bid process.

  • Interfaces with various internal and external customers regarding engineering issues.

  • Works with individuals at all levels and in all departments of the company to accomplish performance objectives.

  • Recommends changes to policy.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities when required.

  • Aptitude and desire to learn new products and technologies

  • MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel MS Project, Expandable, miscellaneous design, and documentation tools.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate of Science degree and seven (7) years of job applicable related experience, or a Bachelor’s of Science degree and five (5) years of applicable job-related experience.
