Salesforce Technical Architect

Delivery | National - Remote | Full Time

Job Description

REMOTE SALESFORCE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

Location: National, Remote, Anywhere, USA

Company

At CodeScience, Inc., we help companies build products for the Salesforce AppExchange. Founded in 2008, we were a founding member of the Salesforce Product Development Organization (PDO) program, and are the only company to achieve the Master Navigator PDO designation. Our clients’ success is rooted in CodeScience’s ability to support them through every stage of their lifecycle from ideation to deployment. We also believe in having fun while doing it.

Position

Our professional services organization executes projects from two day ideation workshops to multi-year enterprise cross-platform application development product builds.  We will take your Salesforce consulting game to the next level with experience building a range of ISV products.  Our existing team has a wealth of experience to share and a desire to keep pushing the envelope.  We lead a team of experienced developers who can build whatever our consultants design.

As a Technical Architect, you have experience as a Sales Engineer, Software Consultant and Product Manager.  You listen to and collaborate with a client on their vision; know how to achieve that vision with the right combination of people, process and technology; and are able to execute your ideas with intense and thoughtful purpose and leadership. You must love learning new things and assimilating new technologies into your solutions. Our success depends on you thinking creatively, owning projects and building client relationships.

Success Predictors

A good indicator of success for technical architects is that your friends find you a bit too analytical.  You must be curious, able to tease information from people and willing to determine a solution from several possible alternatives.  You’ll need the verbal and written dexterity to describe your ideas to both geeks and Luddites.

Those architects who find our type of work a good fit have the following characteristics:

  • Expertise of the Salesforce Customer 360 aka Lightning aka App Cloud aka Force.com platform and other development technologies.

  • The ability to listen to and communicate with clients and lead them to a solution.

  • Ability to work with developers, guide them to a solution and alter your solution based on their feedback.

  • Possess a deep loathing of cubicles and value flexibility and high pay over the 9-to-5 beige office experience.

  • Have a decent handle on leading teams to develop quality user experience apps.

  • Enjoy building things that solve client needs elegantly.
