Position

Program Managers are responsible for the successful execution of strategic account programs. They build critical relationships with program business leads and executives across the client organization, and directly lead all aspects of work produced by their project teams. They ensure projects/programs are defined, tracked and communicated in a concise, consistent and effective manner. They incorporate effective change, risk and issue management controls. They review and understand partner portfolio business cases and are responsible for organizing all projects/programs within the portfolio(s) to ensure on-time delivery, within budget and meets business objectives.

You love a complex challenge and your friends tend to find you a bit too organized and process driven.  You are curious, able to gather detailed information from clients easily and can design a program from several possible alternatives.  You’ll need the verbal and written dexterity to describe your plans to both team and executive stakeholders. You like when things move in coordination yet can still pivot when needed.

  • You are well practiced at delivering tough messages to clients and to your team members.

  • You are self motivated and break out in hives if things go unfinished.




Duties & Responsibilities


  • Deftly navigate organizational structure/politics to influence program direction, decisions and delivery to achieve desired business outcomes.

  • Act as a thought partner to project sponsors and clients; Collaborate to identify unarticulated needs and improve business benefits; Able to represent executive viewpoints.

  • Understand project interdependencies and anticipate/handle/mitigate risks at a program/portfolio level.

  • Drive to completion program planning and execute roadmaps. Provide supervision, mentorship and direction to project teams to ensure successful execution. Ensure quality and evidence of project documentation.

  • Ensure program/project financials adhere to and align with budgetary expectations; Recommend solutions and report out to organizational executives on risk, financials, and other key dimensions; Ensure individual project forecasts are accurate, and that changes are raised appropriately.

  • Effectively communicate project messages at the appropriate level of detail across all levels of the organization. Communicate clearly to a variety of audiences from project teams to C-level. 

  • Encourage project team members to improve their own performance; engage and motivate teams to go beyond their role expectations, to help each other, and to exceed goals.

  • Become the client’s trusted advisor by establishing deep relationships with clients to understand and manage to desired business outcomes.

  • Manage and collaborate with consultants, product owners, and clients across multiple project teams.

  • Optimize project plans and resource utilization across multiple project teams to deliver maximized value to our clients.

  • Identify, mitigate and manage risks.

  • Drive decision making and team consensus to achieve customer and project KPIs.

  • Customize CodeScience’s delivery methodology to the uniqueness of each project.

  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the CodeScience’s delivery methodology.

  • Support for Sales in the creation of SOWs.




Experience


    Required

  • 7+ years professional experience

  • 3+ years consulting experience with enterprise level clients

  • 2+ years of project management

  • Experience with business process definitions, refactoring and best practices

  • Expertise in writing user stories to capture business requirements

  • Understanding of key concepts for user centered design and design thinking 

  • Experience working in an Agile organization or working with an Agile framework

  • Strong client and project team management ability

  • Some Force.com platform knowledge and hands on expertise 

Preferred

  • Solid understanding of the HLS industry

  • Salesforce ISV knowledge

  • Product development expertise
