Delivery Manager - Enterprise Clients

Location: National - Remote


CodeScience, Inc. is a professional services firm that enables organizations to deploy enterprise business processes into the cloud.  The firm’s core offering is designing and building products for Salesforce ISV partners.  The company also provides a range of services to Salesforce customers and on other SaaS platforms.


The Enterprise Delivery Manager (DM) is able to build strong partnerships and drive alignment with Executive Sponsors and senior stakeholders on large, enterprise client engagements.  A master at handling shifting priorities and comfortable managing ambiguity, the DM will leverage a high degree of emotional intelligence to develop a deep understanding of a client’s motivations and goals, and use that knowledge to empower C|S teams deliver exceptional business value.  

Success Predictors

  • Record of success in navigating and driving large-scale, multi-stream engagements with multi-national organizations, focusing on managed or professional service delivery

  • Strong executive presence, and communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills

  • Excellent people management track record. Be an extraordinary leader who can quickly gain the trust of very highly skilled technical team members

  • You are well practiced at delivering tough messages to clients and to your team members.

  • Previous Consulting,Technical Account Management, or Program Management experience

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure while helping teams drive successful customer engagements and outcomes

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, responds to customer needs quickly and effectively; adapts to change

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to establish confidence, maintain a high level of trust, and influence decisioning for customers to maximize delivery value.

  • Strong listening skills; demonstrated ability to ask effective questions

  • Comfortable in the role of the player-coach and provide ongoing support to team members during customer engagements

  • Effectively facilitates workshops and meetings (design thinking experience is a plus)

  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit the unique environments of various clients.

  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with executive sponsors and stakeholders on large-scale enterprise projects

  • Responsible for reviewing project execution giving constructive feedback to team members to ensure project quality and success

  • Quickly understand client organization to facilitate alignment of the right players to resolve escalations with confidence and professionalism

  • Provide expert-level consulting to help the team find a path forward with the best next steps and adopt positive messaging in the face of client challenges

  • Coach project team members to be flexible and pivot to accommodate non-standard client needs

  • Disseminate information to executive leaders in a clear, actionable way and describe tradeoffs

  • Spot risks with scope, schedule and budget and escalate as appropriate to gain resolution and a clear path forward with client alignment

  • Partner with the sales and other services teams to scope new opportunities and plan for execution

  • Demonstrate to Clients the true “Value Add” that partnering with CodeScience brings

  • Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills (ability to present to different audiences and convey messages in a concise, professional manner)



  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent of education and professional experience 

  • 5+ years of software development industry experience

  • 7+ years experience as a Delivery Manager, Program Manager, Client Success Manager or equivalent role 

  • 10+ years of professional services consulting experience

  • Experience and success guiding teams to deliver maximum client value on large scale engagements

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to expertly tailor messages to the appropriate audiences

  • Comfortable working with and managing remote teams spread across multiple time zones.


  • Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, at least on an administrator level.

  • Delivery Manager experience at a key PDO competitor, Salesforce or a Salesforce App Exchange ISV or SI partner
