Delivery Managers are a key member of the portfolio team, they build strong partnerships and drive alignment with Executive Sponsors and senior stakeholders of client engagements of all sizes. A master at handling shifting priorities and comfortable managing ambiguity, the DM will leverage a high degree of emotional intelligence to develop a deep understanding of a client’s motivations and goals, and use that knowledge to empower C|S teams to deliver exceptional business value.
The Delivery Manager acts as the escalation point and helps mitigate risk for the project team, the client, and CodeScience. Additionally, they help ensure the C|S Project Team has what it needs to execute a successful engagement with quality. The DM also provides insight around the account from a portfolio perspective, particularly around risks and opportunities.

You have been around the block a few times and are able to assist with scoping new work and reviewing SOWs to ensure that delivery teams are set up for success
You are a trusted advisor to clients on SFDC partnership issues, escalating internally for additional support as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor overall quality of project execution and deliverables and work closely with people managers to help mitigate with course correction and support
Identify key client contacts and their role in the organization to help support potential escalations and opportunities quickly; lay the foundation for the support needed in the event of challenges (Build relationships early, before things get challenging.)
Be the voice of positive outcomes, especially when challenges arise; help project leaders (PO/PM/TA) identify paths forward; ask the right questions to help teams pivot when needed
Support our clients to achieve desired business outcomes
Field resource requests from the project team, address skill gaps
Risk management- spot risks quickly and drive towards mitigation
Synthesize project status/risks/opportunities to communicate actionable information and tradeoffs to senior leadership
Partner with the sales and other services teams to scope new opportunities and plan delivery
Assist with scoping new work and reviewing SOWs to ensure that delivery teams are set up for success with appropriate team mix, deliverables, scope and budget; ensure that assumptions are articulated appropriately in consultation with Sales
Advise clients on SFDC partnership issues, escalate internally for additional support as needed.
Look for opportunities for ISV education, Product GTM Strategy and engage the appropriate SMEs to support (Product Practice Area, Strategic Alliances to CEO)
Conduct Periodic checkpoint with project PO/PM to discuss challenges, risks, escalations, planning/next steps
For large engagements, periodic check-ins with client Executive Sponsor to ensure client satisfaction, alignment on scope and schedule, future-looking strategy
Portfolio Alignment - Bring Sales, Delivery Managers, and Comm Svcs together to align around current state of portfolio, discuss open items and prepare for Executive review
Deal Summary Update - Update the executives with a summary of blockers and key decisions between Sales, Comm Svcs and Delivery Mgrs; Outcome is digestible and actionable discussion on portfolio
Manage and mentor internal and external team members to best leverage their skills.
College degree - better yet, you left college because it was slowing you down
5+ years of software development or implementation experience
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or equivalent role developing or implementing business software
5+ years of professional services consulting experience
Familiarity with the Salesforce platform
Experience and success leading truly Agile development teams.
Experience and success leading truly Waterfall development teams. (ugh, I know)
Comfortable working with and managing remote teams spread across multiple time zones.
Familiar with agile process management tools such as JIRA, Zenhub, Pivotal Tracker, Trello, Rally, etc.
Possesses technical aptitude and ability to understand high-level technical principles such as SSO and API integrations.
Ability to successfully deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously by trusting your team members and staying at the appropriate level of detail.
Agile ScrumMaster certification or equivalent experience
Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Quality Assurance specialist
Completed and can describe Salesforce platform product implementations
Salesforce development or consultant certification(s) or equivalent experience
Completed and can describe successful implementations of SaaS applications
