Alliances Manager for Salesforce General Managers

Location: National - preference to San Francisco Bay, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles


CodeScience, Inc. is a professional services firm that builds commercial grade applications for our customers on the Salesforce AppExchange. Our customers include Salesforce and market leading Independent Software Vendors and large Enterprise customers looking to create subscription software businesses on the Salesforce platform. 


This role requires a combination of Salesforce technical acumen and business knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem.  Your primary role will be to develop new business and channel opportunities.  Examples include: developing a repeatable program for Salesforce General Managers and Customer Success VPs and their direct reports where they leverage CodeScience services.   Our success depends on you thinking creatively, building a trusted advisor reputation with multiple stakeholders, identifying trends for repeatability and then working with CodeScience Sales and Executives to find opportunities and repeatable programs for software services contracts.

Success Predictors:

A good indicator of success for the Business Development Manager is being able to evangelize and build relationships with  multiple stakeholders at Salesforce.   You must be curious, able to work with teams, willing to meet KPI metrics on a monthly basis.  You’ll need the verbal, written, strong networking and technical acumen to add value and hit key business metrics. 


Those Business Development Managers who find our type of work a good fit have the following characteristics:

  1. You have 3-7 years of  experience selling software development life cycle (SDLC)

  2. You have existing knowledge of the platform and Ecosystem.

  3. You enjoy building strong, long term relationships. 

  4. You know how to network and open up opportunities and work with sales and executive leadership to drive programs and opportunities forward.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Exceed influencing $5M+ in services revenue annually.

  • Create value for Salesforce GM’s and Customer Success teams 

  • Track KPI’s to Opportunity development in Salesforce

  • Work directly with Sales and Marketing to drive programs and awareness to Salesforce
