Codero depends upon our SysOps Engineers for the development, operation, and improvement of critical business systems. You will architect and deploy integrated software and hardware solutions to enable a delightful user experience in and out of the office.
You will give a face to our internal technology infrastructure and services and the point of escalation for internal IT concerns. Your ability to break down complex topics into simple terms will assist and educate users, empowering them to self-serve where appropriate. Your people skills and empathy will help you understand the needs of your users and develop trust.
You will work as part of a global team to help configure, manage, and maintain internal corporate systems as well the opportunity to train in the support of Codero’s multiple Tier 4 Data Centers. This position involves working with multiple internal customers and groups, using industry-standard tools and software, and creating resilient infrastructure on which to run applications and services.
Maintain, support, and scale infrastructure systems to meet company demands.
Administrate Corporate Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and Active Directory.
Collaborate with fellow DevOps and Development Engineers to bring new features and services into production and participate in a rotating on-call process.
Develop and maintain existing automation for deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response functionality across the company.
Develop and promote operational practices, procedures, and standards.
Ability to manage your own time and reprioritize as needed to meet company goals.
Assist support staff and team members in troubleshooting software issues and implementing bug fixes.
Take ownership of assigned projects.
Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours company impacting issues.
Work in an agile development environment with short sprints and standups.
Communicating and collaborating with others.
4+ years of professional experience supporting;
Active Directory administration.
Microsoft Exchange administration.
A background of systems administration, systems engineering, or DevOps engineering.
Solid understanding of DNS and DNS system management.
A strong history of process re-engineering and business process improvement initiatives.
Previous experience in a 24x7 production operations team.
Demonstrated desire to learn emerging technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Active Microsoft or AWS Certifications.
Salesforce administration or development experience.
Ansible scripting experience.
Ubersmith administration experience.
Experience administrating VoIP / PBX / Softphone systems.
Focus on developing and refining CI / CD pipelines of projects.
