  • As a member of Codero's Network Team, this position’s primary role is to work with peer network engineers to monitor and maintain the integrity and availability of all data center networks, security applications, and services in a 24x7x365 environment.

  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, incident reports, and change management records.

  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships internally and with external service providers.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve security strategies and procedures across all business units and develop plans to address them.

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, process improvements, and security enhancements related to the achievement of Codero’s business goals and objectives.

  • Coordinate, administrate, manage and monitor the use of access control systems security tools and intrusion detection systems to identify anomalous events and security infractions that exploit system vulnerabilities.

  • Other network and infrastructure duties as assigned.



  • Troubleshooting, upgrading, and supporting Brocade Fiber Channel Backbones, Switches, and Routers.

  • Troubleshooting/upgrading Firewalls (Fortinet/FortiGate preferred).

  • Troubleshooting, upgrading Load Balancers (Fortinet or Kemp preferred).

  • Managing/Auditing network device configurations.

  • Must be familiar and comfortable with Change Management, Request Management, and Incident Management best practices.

  • Must-Have experience with the following: 


  • BGP in a multi-provider environment


  • OSPF

  • IPv6



  • CCNA Security or CCNP Security


  • Security+

  • Previous experience supporting MSP network environments.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
