Content Marketing Manager

As the Content Marketing Manager, you will help drive growth by influencing the type of customer experience that resonates with our audiences and provokes them to act.


Job Description

This vital role is responsible for guiding the company’s overall content strategy and delivery. The successful candidate will create engaging, insightful content with the purpose of guiding prospective customers through the buyer journey from target to delighted Customer.



  • Understand the business needs and content consumption preferences for our various audiences of managed IT services

  • Create content each month to drive awareness, demand, and lead generation

  • Collaborate with the design team, product marketing, and sales to produce relevant content that meets the needs of prospects, customers, and partners

  • Originate and curate content assets that include long-form copy, case studies, emails, PR, eNews and other written/visual executions

  • Monitor content performance and ensure that all content meets SEO guidelines

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Team to ensure content is aligned with the marketing strategy and shared across all appropriate channels

  • Direct content production to hit campaign milestones and meet delivery dates

  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar targeted at specific audiences to drive engagement, preference, and advocacy for Codero

  • Manage Codero social accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook) for design management, publication schedule, and the audience listening

  • Create social content (posts, blogs, tweets) for external and internal communications

  • Build and enable an ecosystem of social advocacy leveraging Codero customers, partners, affiliates, and industry analysts


Experience & Personal Characteristics

  • Experience in IT infrastructure content marketing with companies like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, IBM, or cloud service providers is essential

  • Proven ability to translate messages on diverse mediums to reach distinct IT audience personas

  • Past experience building and growing online audiences

  • In-depth knowledge of content management framework and marketing automation

  • Familiar with the optimal multi-channel approach, including content metrics

  • Process-driven to determine whether the output is generating desired conversion activity

  • Ability to manage day-to-day efforts to create and share compelling social content

  • Self-directed and can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
