Notification Coordinator I
Location: Long Beach
CLP Operations & Maintenance (CLP) is a company at the forefront of the modern-day electric utility industry. We are a Subcontractor for a major utility provider in Southern California. We are seeking a Notification Coordinator I to join our team at our Long Beach location.
The Notification Coordinator I works closely with Construction Coordinators that are scheduling the installation of equipment and components for high voltage electrical projects. They work within their group to provide excellent customer service and make sure jobsites are properly prepared prior to line crew arrival to ensure crew can work safely and efficiently without delays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will correctly identify and notify residential and commercial consumers of work scope, location, and impact.
- Create No Parking Signage. Place signage properly and carefully following procedures.
- Observe and document existing sight conditions at various work locations.
- Will interact with residential and commercial consumers in a positive manner.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in the utility industry required.
- Combination of electrical training and electrical construction field experience, as well as the ability to perform administrative tasks.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and self-organize with changing priorities.
- Team player.
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Some overtime work on weekends and evenings expected.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- You must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
- A valid driver’s license with a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policy required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly: $18.00 to $26.00 based on experience
