Cloud Elements Sr. Delivery Manager for Strategic Alliances Job Description

At Cloud Elements our customers experience and making them successful is one of our most important tasks. Given that our customers pay us over time customer satisfaction, retention and growth are keys to our longevity.  In this role you will be a major contributor in ensuring our customers are quick to find value in our products.

The Strategic Alliances Sr. Delivery Manager will be responsible for the delivery of our Alliances Program. This sector consists of large resellers, system integration partners and strategic referral partners.  The role will have a strong global responsibility as many of our with significant travel nationally and internationally, as existing partnerships all have headquarters in Europe.  The candidate should have a strong technical acumen and history of delivering programs to the technology companies in the enterprise.

As a member of the Customer Success Team, you play an important role will developing strong relationships with our customers, gaining a deep understanding of their objectives, create solutions and be a critical partner in delivering those solutions through the Cloud Elements platform.

More about this role:

  • Responsible for creating and delivering the partner solution. Must have built or delivered a similar technology program in the past bringing proven best practices to the team.

  • Possess exceptional project management skills and experience, you will be the responsible party for coordinating Strategic Alliance leaders from Sales and Marketing to deliver the solution.  This includes coordinating the work of Delivery Engineers, QA and Training resources.

  • Responsible for the retention, growth and customer satisfaction during the onboarding period.

  • Develop programs with Marketing to execute go-to-market strategies with our key strategic partners.

  • Develop clear success plans that outline timelines, critical success factors, potential issues, and provide best practice recommendations

  • Closely track and report out based on agreed upon timelines that timelines and manage expectations as things change during the project period.

  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering in prioritizing the technical work required.

  • Responsible for accounting for the project hours of the team to finance.

  • You will be measured using a combination of Customer Satisfaction and Product Adoption performance indicators.

  • 10+ years of overall enterprise SaaS sales experience, with 5+ years of partner/channel management, strategic business operations, strategy, and/or corporate development

  • Understanding or experience in integration technology or API’s

  • Track record of delivering technical partnerships that drive revenue

  • Strong vendor/partner contracting and negotiation skills required

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to explain, understand, manage, and implement complex partnerships and projects.

  • Capacity for highly technical selling, including comfort with performing technical demos, technical discovery, and presentation of core product capabilities

  • Experience with CRM and other sales technology platforms
